On display at the museum divided into 14 branch exhibition halls are over 10,000 specimens of different kinds including gift specimens sent by President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

The High-Tech Development Institute is a center for scientific research and high-tech product development, housing 9 research and development areas, conference room, co-development room, exhibition hall and others for education and scientific exchange.

The inauguration ceremony of the museum and institute was held on Thursday.
