The islet presents a peculiar scene in harmony with seals and seagulls.

At present, sea pollution is posing a serious threat to the marine ecosystem throughout the world and, accordingly, the realm of seals' habitat is getting smaller and their numbers are on the decrease.

But, the water area of Josan Bay in the northern part of Korea has a good condition for seals' inhabitation.
