The championships held in China brought together men and women players of many countries and regions including the DPRK, Uzbekistan, Hong Kong of China and Japan.

Meanwhile, Ri Kang Bom bagged a silver medal in men's marathon and Kim Ji Hyang a bronze in women's marathon.

The marathoners came back home on Tuesday.
