Bounnang Vorachith in the message expressed his sincere thanks to Kim Jong Un on behalf of the Central Committee of the LPRP, the LPDR government and people and on his own behalf for extending on the occasion of the 44th founding anniversary of the LPDR the warm congratulations and the best wishes which serve as a great encouragement for the Lao party, government and people and for himself.

The message expressed the belief that the DPRK would continue to register new greater successes in defending the country, carrying out the cause of building a powerful socialist country and improving the people's standard of living under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

In his message he said he was very rejoiced at the fact that the traditional and excellent relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries are steadily developing in conformity with the interests of the peoples of the two countries and peace, friendship, cooperation and development in the region and the rest of the world.
