On display at the exhibition hall were photos showing the immortal exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un in developing the friendship between the DPRK and China.

Books, photos and stamps showing the DPRK's achievements in the building of socialism were also displayed there.

Present at the opening ceremony of the exhibition were Chinese figures from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the National Library, the DPRK ambassador to China and staff members of his embassy.

Speeches were made at the opening ceremony.
