Recycling and Saving Work Brisk in DPRK
Pyongyang, December 31 (KCNA) -- The recycling and saving work is getting brisk in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Many units, including industrial establishments, farms and schools, have set this work as an important way for revitalization of production and a part of the development strategy.

The Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill built a nonwoven fiber fabric production process using the leftovers to produce packing materials.

The Sariwon Aeguk Essential Plastic Goods Factory has produced more than 20 kinds of goods with plastic waste, including pipes of different sizes, ceiling board and bucket.

The Namhung Youth Chemical Complex remodeled the fertilizer production process into energy- and lobar-saving one, thus making it possible to economize thousands of tons of coal every month.

The Ponghwa Chemical Factory saved several thousand tons of fuel oil this year by introducing new technologies.
