Seen at the venue of the festival are more than 70 ice sculptures created by dozens of units including the State Commission of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, Art Studio of the Korean People's Army and the Mangyongdae District People's Committee and youth and students.

Among the sculptures are those showing President Kim Il Sung's birthplace in Mangyongdae, Chairman Kim Jong Il's birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp, Samjiyon City, Yangdok County, etc.
