85 goals were recorded in 35 matches during the period, according to an official of the DPRK Football Association.

The matches showed remarkable development in diverse aspects including techniques and tactics.

In particular, Sobaeksu and Sonbong teams came under the limelight in the league matches.

The Sobaeksu Team defeated Pyongyang, Hwaebul and Kigwancha teams 3:0, 2:0 and 1:0 respectively. As of now, it took the first place in the team standings with five wins and one defeat in six matches and recorded 12 goals.

The Sonbong Team, too, defeated the Kigwancha Team 2:0 and the Hwaebul Team and the Ministry of Light Industry Team 2:1 respectively. And it drew 2:2 with the April 25 Team, the winner of the previous premier football league, thus taking the fourth place with ten points in five matches.

The premier football league is slated to resume in March this year.
