Schoolchildren on Tour of 250-mile Journey for National Liberation Pass Hyangsan
Hyangsan, January 25 (KCNA) -- Schoolchildren from across the country on a tour of the 250-mile journey for national liberation passed Hyangsan.

On Jan. 22 they left Mangyongdae, the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung, to step up their march along the 250-mile journey for national liberation covered by him.

Leading officials of the local Party and power organs and working people's organizations greeted and gave a pep-talk to the schoolchildren in Kaechon City, Kujang County and other places where they went.

The schoolchildren toured Kujang Inn and Chongchongang Ferry Revolutionary Site which Kim Il Sung stopped by while making the 250-mile journey for learning and the 250-mile journey for national liberation and the Tokgol Revolutionary Site associated with Chairman Kim Jong Il's footprints.

During the march they conducted diverse political and cultural work including presentation on the reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerrillas and a question-and-answer study.

When they arrived in Hyangsan Town on Friday, they were welcomed by the officials, working people and youth and students of Hyangsan County.

That day they laid a floral basket and bouquets and made a bow before the statue of Kim Il Sung in the town.

They left the town on Saturday.
