The reporter and speakers said that the revolutionary line on launching an offensive for making a breakthrough head-on clarified at the Fifth Plenary Meeting of the Seventh Central Committee of the WPK serves as an immortal programme for breaking through head-on the unprecedentedly severe trials, defending to the last the sovereignty and supreme interests of the country and opening up an avenue?in building a powerful socialist country under the unfurled banner of achieving prosperity by dint of self-reliance, and fully supported it.

Noting that the ardent appeal of the WPK calling upon all the people across the country to launch an offensive for making a breakthrough head-on boundlessly stirs up the hearts of all the members of the KSDP who are contributing to accomplishing the cause of independence of the Korean nation and mankind on the basis of the political idea on independence, they expressed their resolutions to fulfill the responsibility and duty as the friendly party of the WPK by unsparingly devoting the patriotic enthusiasm and creative wisdom to the grand march of self-reliance for hastening the far-reaching ambition and ideal for building a powerful socialist country.

They said that the KSDP has positively supported the just policies of the WPK, adding that they would more dynamically wage a nationwide struggle for resolutely smashing the anti-DPRK moves of the U.S. and other hostile forces to stifle the DPRK, as they are making desperate efforts to check the prosperity and development of the DPRK while daring to abuse the independent dignity of the Korean nation.

The plenary meeting adopted a relevant decision.
