"Ordinance on Student Soldiers", Past Crime Done by Japan against Korean Nation
Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- In the last century, the Japanese imperialists had committed a lot of crimes against the Korean nation.

One of them was "Ordinance on Student Soldiers" cooked up as an outcome of Japan's policy for obliterating the Korean nation.

This "ordinance" was aimed to fill up human resources needed for the Pacific War and to stamp out the anti-Japanese forces in Korea by driving Korean students into battlefields.

For this, the Japanese imperialists adopted a military education law in war time in 1943 and instructed each provincial governor and headmasters of schools to execute it.

After the publication of the law, Korean students were dragged into murderous military drills every day and taken to units of the Japanese imperialist aggression army under the surveillance of gendarme and police and secret agents.

When the "ordinance" was strongly rejected by Korean students, the Japanese imperialists let pro-Japanese lackeys and traitors admonish them to obey it while arresting those who refused to be "student soldiers" and pressing them into service by mobilizing the police and military policemen.

After all, many students got deformed mentally and physically under the national humiliation and oppression and were compelled to death at battlefields.

As seen above, the coercive enforcement of the "ordinance" by the Japanese imperialists was the most hideous extra-large state-sponsored crime based on the national chauvinism.
