Seminar of Korean Social Scientists in Japan Held
Pyongyang, February 18 (KCNA) -- A seminar of Korean social scientists in Japan was held at the Korean Hall in Tokyo on Feb. 6 on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star (the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il).

Speakers said that the historic 5th Plenary Meeting of the 7th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea set forth the revolutionary line of breaking through head-on the subjective and objective obstacles and difficulties faced in the course of the great and dynamic advance of the Korean revolution and further promoting socialist construction.

Pointing out the brilliant wisdom and bold determination of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, the honor and pride of holding a great leader in high esteem for generations to come, and the belief in the ultimate victory of the Korean revolution, they explained the idea, validity and historic significance of an offensive for making a breakthrough head-on.

Present there were Pae Jin Gu, vice-chairman and concurrently director general of the General Affairs Department of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Kim Song Hun, director of the Department for Publicity and Culture of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Ri Yong Su, chairman of the Korean Social Scientists Association in Japan, and members of the Association, officials of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and its organizations, affiliates and officials of Chongryon in Kanto area.
