Great Efforts Made in DPRK to Curb COVID-19
Pyongyang, February 21 (KCNA) -- COVID-19 spreads worldwide, giving rise to serious concern of the international community.

As the novel coronavirus infection is hard to curb once it has spread, all the regions and units in the DPRK intensify anti-epidemic work against its inroad into the country with each passing day.

Officials of ministries and national institutions take stricter measures, aware of assuming their responsibility for anti-epidemic work at their units before the Party and State.

The Bureau of Passenger Service in Pyongyang informs citizens of the danger of COVID-19 through radio and TV transmitters installed in trolley buses and tramcars, seeing to it that drivers and conductresses urge passengers to wear masks.

Officials and working people at many units render sincere material and moral assistance to the prevention of the disease.

North Phyongan, South Hwanghae, Jagang and South Hamgyong provinces and Nampho and Kaesong cities pay special attention to the observation and check-up of returnees from foreign countries with COVID-19 cases and their contacts, while letting them volunteer for the hygienic and anti-epidemic work.
