They arrived at Mupho Bivouac where President Kim Il Sung camped during the advance into the homeland by leading the main force of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army (KPRA) in May, Juche 28 (1939). There they were briefed on the fact that the President held a meeting of commanding officers of the KPRA to set forth a militant task for advance into the area of Taehongdan.

They recalled the revolutionary career of Chairman Kim Jong Il at the Mupho Angling Site where he matured a plan for accomplishing the cause of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism.

They toured the Taehongdan Revolutionary Battle Site.

During the expedition they conducted colorful political and cultural activities including a gathering for expressing impressions on the reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerrillas and a competition of singing revolutionary songs in chorus.
