Strict Inspection and Quarantine Measures for Imported Goods Taken in DPRK
Pyongyang, February 26 (KCNA) -- Strict inspection and quarantine measures for imported goods have been taken in the DPRK as part of the work for preventing COVID-19.

The government makes the officials of the State Commission of Quality Management enhance their responsibility and role, clearly mindful that any slightest slackness may result in serious consequences.

It informs them of newly disclosed data on the spread routes of COVID-19 in time, thus making them conduct inspection and quarantine more carefully.

It also urged the inspection and quarantine stations for exports and imports at border areas and main ports to conduct the inspection and quarantine of imported goods strictly as demanded by the rules.

Meanwhile, a new order was established to leave the imported goods intact at the tightly closed places for the set period and then hand over the goods to relevant units after thoroughly disinfecting them as required by directions.
