Meeting of Chongryon Tokyo Metropolitan Headquarters Held
Pyongyang, February 29 (KCNA) -- Officials of the Tokyo Metropolitan Headquarters, branches, bodies and affiliates of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) held a meeting on February 18.

Attending it were Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Pak Ku Ho, vice-chairman and director of the Organization Department of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Ko Tok U, chairman of the Tokyo Metropolitan Headquarters of Chongryon, and other full-time officials and part-time officials of institutions, organizations and affiliates at various levels of the Tokyo Metropolitan Headquarters of Chongryon, chiefs of branches and teachers of schools at various levels.

Ko Tok U made a report which was followed by speeches.

The reporter stressed the need for all the organizations of the metropolitan headquarters to take the lead in today's offensive for making a breakthrough head-on, bearing in mind the bold decision and grand conception made by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un as the unshakable faith.

Ho Jong Man concluded a meeting.

He said that Kim Jong Un's message of New Year greeting was filled with his great trust and expectation that Chongryon would hasten a fresh heyday by overcoming difficulties through the offensive for making a breakthrough head-on.

He stressed the need to more deeply and more correctly grasp the policy requirements and principled issues in the offensive for making a breakthrough head-on, and referred to issues which should be adhered to as the main link, noting that the metropolitan headquarters of Chongryon holds an important position in the movement of Koreans in Japan.

He called upon the Standing Committee of the headquarters including the chairman to delight Kim Jong Un with distinguished successes by giving priority to the ideological education and conducting an innovative and initiative struggle.
