While taking practical measures to set up more branches for water examination in the areas along the border and the demarcation line, the ministry has tightened administrative and technological guidance to reinforce the assaying staff and guarantee scientific accuracy in assaying.

Efforts are being directed to accurately choosing the locations of the branches and providing them with necessary equipment and chemical reagents.

Strict measures have also been taken to detect and counter any slightest sign of an outbreak of contagious diseases in their early stage in reservoirs and pumping stations. And it is being urged to display high sense of responsibility in the examination and sterilization of drinking water.

Sewage treatment plants are taking positive steps to purify waste water as set out in the technical regulations.
