Internet Seminar on Chairman Kim Jong Il's Exploits Held
Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- An internet seminar of the East European and Central Asian Regions took place in Russia on February 12 ahead of the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Participated in the seminar were the chief of the International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions, chiefs of the organizations for the study of the Juche Idea in different countries including Russia, Ukraine and Moldova and adherents of the Juche idea.

Mikhail Panchenko, general secretary of the International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions, said in his speech that figures of political and public circles of many countries praise with admiration the extraordinary leadership of Kim Jong Il who made immortal contributions to the development of friendly relations among countries and thus dynamically propelled the cause of global peace.

Oleg Vernik, chairman of the Moldovan Songun Youth Union for the Study of the Juche Idea, and Aleksei Bolynets, chairman of the Pridnestrovye Anti-Imperialism Songun Revolutionary Association for the Study of the Juche Idea of Moldova, praised exploits performed by Kim Jong Il for the country and nation.

Vadim Kudimin, director of the Russian Institute of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, said that Kim Jong Il frustrated the anti-socialist offensives of the imperialists and reactionaries to firmly defend the socialism of the DPRK and steered the cause of global independence by firmly taking the helm of independence.

Nikolai Polishk, chairman of the Ukrainian "Treasured Sword of Songun" Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, said that Kim Jong Il saw to it that the People's Army took the lead in the defence of the country as well as in major worksites for socialist construction.

A letter to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was adopted at the internet seminar.
