In this regard, an official of the General Bureau of Forest under the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection, told KCNA on March 2, Tree-planting Day:

The large-scale Tree Nursery No. 122 of the Korean People's Army was built into a model land- and manpower-saving one in the country and the Kangwon Provincial Tree Nursery, where the sapling production is put on a scientific, industrial and intensive basis, took its shape as a standard one to be followed by other provinces.

And tree nurseries were built in Jungphyong area of North Hamgyong Province and Nampho and Rason cities and modern sapling greenhouses came into being in more than 140 cities and counties last year.

Besides, the construction of North and South Phyongan provincial tree nurseries is nearing completion.
