The recent enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee had deep-going discussions of the principled issues of thoroughly applying the people-first principle in party building and activities and constantly strengthening the Party ranks and fighting efficiency as required by the developing revolution, ways of correctly carrying out the immediate political, military and economic tasks and issues of adopting and strictly enforcing top-class anti-epidemic measures to contain the viral epidemic rapidly spreading worldwide, says the editorial.

The enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK serves as an important occasion in firmly preserving the revolutionary nature of the WPK responsible for the destiny of the people.

It also comes to be an important occasion that made all Party organizations and officials comprehend once again and reconfirm the fixed will of the Party which does not allow dominance over the people and encroachment upon their interests.

The enlarged meeting gave an intensive criticism of acts alien to the Party, abuse of power, privilege, bureaucratic practices, corruption and irregularities revealed among senior officials of the Party Central Committee and officials of the Party cadre training institution and gave a deep analysis of their gravity and consequences.

The enlarged meeting is a significant event that fully demonstrated once again the spirit of making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people of our Party which is giving top priority to the life and safety of people and subordinating everything to them.
