KCNA Comments on Conservative Forces Threatening S. Korean Society
|

Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- Social unrest has recently been mounting in south Korea owing to the rowdyism of the ultra-right conservative forces. The so-called "Christian" conservative groups held a "south Korean flag meeting" at the Kwanghwamun Plaza in Seoul to cry out for "removal of Juche idea followers", "elimination of the forces following the north" and "release of Park Geun Hye". South Korea is regarded as one of the worst-hit countries owing to the rapid spread of COVID-19. Hundreds of people have been infected with novel coronavirus a day and the death toll has already gone beyond 40. But the group of traitors, obsessed with confrontation and hostility, goes on a rampage in herds with clean indifference to whether it comes to be a threat to the safety of people or not. Even after the inroads of COVID-19 into south Korea was confirmed, the gentries of "headquarters of struggle" steered by the General Association of Christians of south Korea held rallies harmful to the anti-epidemic campaign every weekend and, not content with this, call for rallies with larger attendance. They, regardless of scientific recommendations of the WHO and medical experts, even went the length of making foolish assertions that "the participation in the rally help cure the epidemic" and "the suspension of the rally due to the epidemic crisis is beneficial to the present regime only". It is no more than an evil doing bereft of reason. Lurking behind such rowdyism is a sinister intention of the conservative group to turn down the sentence by the candlelight demonstrators, reestablish the conservative regime and stir up hostility towards the DPRK. The south Korean religious organizations said that the General Association of Christians of south Korea was degenerated into an organization with extreme political ideology long ago, far from religious organisation, but still boasts its existence with the backing of some political forces and media keen on harnessing its activities for a political purpose". Numerous are examples proving that the lunatic ultra-right forces are linked with the group of Hwang Kyo An. Jon Kwang Hun, representative chairman of the general association, branded the participants in candlelight resistance, which overthrew the regime of traitor Park Geun Hye, as "fleas" and has made reckless remarks that the left-wing followers of the north act as the host, south Korea faces a crisis of possibilities of being faded out as it goes for following the north and being Communized and the Juche idea followers should be eliminated. And he openly instigates the seizure of power, saying that he would have been pleased if Hwang Kyo An became the president". Hwang Kyo An and Ra Kyong Won showed up at the rally sponsored by the general association at the end of last year. Judging from the fact, it is not hard to guess who stands behind the rowdyism. Amid the bitter public criticism of the ultra-right conservatives, Hwang Kyo An outwardly calls upon them to temporarily suspend the rally, saying that their sentiment is understandable. This is a thinly-veiled trick to keep himself from the public anger, and another evidence proving that the ultra-right conservatives are a group wire-pulled by Hwang Kyo An. Indeed, the conservative group is the "conservative devils" crueler than the epidemic sweeping south Korea, and heinous maniacs keen on confrontation with fellow countrymen. The top priority for healthy society in south Korea and safety of its people is to exterminate such human pathogens. |
