The editorial says:

Morality is the fundamentals of social life, human life and tightening of moral discipline is directly linked with the building of a powerful country.

If we give up the building of ideology, culture and morality in the face of economic difficulty and trials, we can neither preserve the single-minded unity nor establish the revolutionary discipline and order. Only when we make crystal-clear conscience, obligation and sound and voluntary moral traits prevail in the society, can we successfully win great victory in the struggle to implement the great leaders' instructions and uphold the Party's policies, give full play to the advantages of the Korean-style socialism and make a steady progress and development of the revolution.

The potential might of the DPRK is that all people unite closely behind the leader in ideology, purpose and moral obligation. In our society, the beautiful trait of helping and leading one another forward is being displayed despite of difficulties, and the revolution is advancing and construction being accelerated with vitality. Such a status quo can never be imagined anywhere else.

As our struggle is arduous and we face huge revolutionary tasks, we should continue to tighten moral discipline without a moment's carelessness and hiatus. The thoroughgoing establishment of moral discipline means vigor, energy and might of our State.

The editorial calls for turning out as one in the campaign for tightening moral discipline, so as to turn the whole society into a great harmonious family full of virtues and benevolence.
