Going round different places of Pyongyang where dwelling houses are under construction, Kim Jae Ryong stressed the need to thoroughly keep the principle of building infrastructure first in the construction of dwelling houses and public establishments, heighten the sense of responsibility of construction executives and ensure the qualitative level of structures by massively deploying specialized construction forces to the construction sites.

He also called upon the relevant units to take measures in advance for supplying materials.

At the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex, he underscored the need to scientifically and technically perfect the Juche-based iron-making process and fully meet the domestic demand for iron and steel by ensuring full operation of oxygen converters and concentrating all efforts on the expansion of production capacity.

The field consultative meetings deal with practical issues to speed up the construction of dwelling houses on the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea, and with measures for increased production and technical updating to attain the goal of steel production.

Meanwhile, Kim Jae Ryong visited the Jungsan Mine, the Pyongyang Dental Hygiene Products Factory and the site for reconstructing and updating the Pyongyang Pharmaceutical Factory.
