Samjiyon City is the historic place where Chairman Kim Jong Il's birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp is situated.

Last year, the city was turned into a socialist fairyland and a model local town under the guidance of the Workers' Party of Korea and thanks to the devoted efforts of the Korean people.

The sheetlets contain stamps showing a technical senior middle school, people's hospital, blueberry drink factory, gymnasium, houses and a hotel with the radically changed city as background.
