Present there were Nam Sung U, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Pak Ku Ho, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee who is director of its Organization Department, Kang Chu Ryon, vice-chairwoman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and concurrently chairwoman of the Central Standing Committee of the Union of Democratic Korean Women in Japan, Song Kun Hak, director of the Education Department of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Han Tong Song, rector of the university, Hong Nam Gi, director general of the university, leading officials of central leadership bodies and affiliates, graduates from the university and their parents, teaching staff and students, and Korean residents in Japan.

A congratulatory message from the Education Commission of the DPRK was introduced at the ceremony.

Nam Sung U made a congratulatory speech.

He expressed the firm belief that the graduates will fulfill their duties in various fields of a patriotic cause as befits reliable successors to the movement of Koreans in Japan to uphold the guidance of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un with loyalty.

After a report delivered by Han Tong Song, graduates were awarded letters of commendation from the Education Commission of the DPRK, the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and Korean University.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was read out at the ceremony.
