Pyongyang, March 12 (KCNA) -- A national seminar on the Juche idea for independence, democracy and development took place in Kinshasa, the DR Congo on March 1. Present there were Andre Lohekele Kalonda, secretary general of the African Regional Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea who is national president of the Working Citizens' Association of the DR Congo and chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of the DR Congo, Otete Gaston Mboyo, chairman of the DR Congo-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Association who is deputy general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the DR Congo, and other personages of various circles and masses. The chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of the DR Congo made a keynote report at the seminar. He said that genuine democracy can be found in the society based on collectivism, i.e. the DPRK which correctly reflects and realizes the will and demand of the people, not in the capitalist society where money decides everything. The DR Congo should also build the democratic society in line with the desire of the people who want to live and develop independently, not with "democracy" forced by the outside forces. The DPRK has strikingly demonstrated the might of a powerful country and its key is in the great guiding idea. We should learn after the practical experience of the DPRK which built a powerful self-supporting national economy as required by the Juche idea calling for putting forward the working masses as the independent driving force of the history and solving everything in reliance on their might. A final declaration released at the seminar stressed the need to display patriotism, self-reliance, creativity and national pride and contribute to the development of national economy for the prosperity of the DR Congo. A letter to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was adopted there. |
