The factory, whose production processes are put on an automatic and unmanned basis with the computer integrated manufacturing established, was built under the energetic and detailed guidance of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

The Supreme Leader selected a site for the factory at the foot of scenic Mt Ryongak and guided its miniature on several occasions and dispatched a powerful building force.

He visited the factory under construction in June Juche 105 (2016) and named it the "Ryongaksan Soap Factory". And he set forth an important task for building it in a splendid way, saying that the party is waiting for its completion as it is urgently required by the people.

Thanks to his warm love and energetic guidance, the factory was completed in a little more than one year.

When visiting the factory in October 2016, the Supreme Leader said with great satisfaction that one more large-scale modern factory was built splendidly to contribute to the improvement of the people's livelihood.

After its operation, the factory has channeled big efforts into raising the proportion of locally available raw materials, thus increasing the varieties of products and lowering their production cost markedly.
