Japanese Reactionaries' Discrimination against Korean Nation Protested in Saitama Prefecture

| Pyongyang, March 14 (KCNA) -- Officials of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) including Sin Min Ho, chairman of the Saitama Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon, and Koreans in Japan are launching a campaign to denounce the Saitama City authorities for their rude and wicked discrimination against the Korean nation. They organized a team on March 11 to stage a strong protest against the authorities' discrimination before the Saitama City Hall. Referring to the fact that the Saitama City authorities excluded only the kindergarten of Korean school from the supply of masks for preventing COVID-19, they criticized it as an unpardonable practice from the viewpoints of human rights and humanitarianism. The director of the kindergarten protested against the measure taken by the city authorities, saying that it is an act of seriously defaming the dignity of Koreans in Japan and a matter related with the life of children, not one related with a few sheets of mask. |
