Recalling that a spokesman for the Association of Korean Victims of Forcible Drafting and Their Bereaved Families issued a statement over the fact that lots of Korean people, who were forcibly taken to Japan, met a grievous death by the U.S. forces' bombing on Tokyo on March 10, 1945, the joint statement went on:

The Japanese government will have to make thoroughgoing apology and reparation to all the victims of forcible drafting and their bereaved families and take practical steps to find out all the Koreans' remains and bury them as required by the bereaved families.

Unforgettable are the cruel crimes committed by the Japanese imperialists against the Korean people.

Japan should be held accountable for its past crimes and deserves punishment.

We demand that the unethical criminals of Japan be punished.
