Bean Curd Widely Used in Korean People's Diet
Pyongyang, March 20 (KCNA) -- From long ago, the Korean people have used bean curd for their diet, preparing soup, casserole and other delicious dishes with it. Korea is the home of soybean.

In the DPRK, bean curd cookery has got more diversified under the warm care of the peerlessly great men for the people.

At the early dawn of one day in January Juche 51 (1962), President Kim Il Sung visited a bean curd factory in Pyongyang City. He personally tasted the bean curd and acquainted himself with the supply of it to the citizens.

Chairman Kim Jong Il set forth a policy on soybean farming during his Songun revolutionary leadership. And he said on several occasions that bean curd and other diverse soybean dishes should be widely used in the dietary life of citizens and servicepersons.

True to the noble intention of the President and the Chairman, Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un took a step to inform them of how to cook various broiled dishes with bean curd.
