Pyongyang, April 1 (KCNA) -- The citizens in the DPRK are enjoying an independent and creative life, making a large family. To help and lead each other forward is the beautiful traits of the Korean people who regard collectivism as their lifeblood. Among them are such persons who have readily dedicated themselves to others as: a miner in his forties who sacrificed his life to protect his colleague from a falling big stone at a face, a "girl mother" taking care of orphans, young men and women who became the life partners of disabled soldiers, and female teachers who had piggybacked crippled pupils to schools for years. In an interview with KCNA, Im Hyang Hui, a worker of the Capital City Construction Commission who has taken warm care of a war veteran for nearly 10 years, said that she did only what should be done, a commonplace to be seen in the country. |
