Kim Jong Un in the message extended warm congratulations and greetings to the president and friendly government and people of Senegal on behalf of the government and people of the DPRK on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the independence of Senegal.

The message said that the Senegalese people have registered many successes in the struggle for building a prosperous new Senegal for six decades since its independence and that the people of the DPRK rejoiced over this as over their own.

Expressing the belief that the long-standing relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries would invariably develop as required by the new era and desired by the peoples of the two countries, it sincerely wished the president and people of Senegal greater success in their work for the prosperity of the country.
