Officials of Party and power organs in Pyongyang set the multistage goals in detail to be carried out during the campaign, properly conducted information and publicity activities along with visual agitation and, at the same time, controlled the campaign every day and week while taking due measures.

The recent one month alone has witnessed the cleaning and sterilization of water tanks and water reservoirs, distemper coating for at least 42,900 blocks of flats and public buildings, repair of roads, paving of sideways and painting of street lamp poles.

Officials and working people in Sunchon City, South Phyongan Province completed the embankment of one thousand and hundreds of meters-long section of the River Taedong in a few days and are decently carrying out the projects planned for the campaign, including the repair of multi-storied apartment houses and road curbstones and the clear-out of ditches.

Jagang Province has successfully stepped up the clear-out of ditches, repair of sidewalks and tree-planting as scheduled to improve overall hygienic environment.
