Posted on the website of Chongwadae was an article authored by a member of a civic organization. The article claimed that the result of investigation into the sinking of warship "Cheonan" announced by the former "regime" gives rise to many questions.

Noting that if the warship was really attacked by the north, it is doubtful why the U.S. kept mum about it, the article urged to probe into the truth behind the sinking through "state-sponsored" investigation on the lapse of ten years after the case.

The member of the civic organization called for turning out in the people's petition movement for the probe into the truth behind the sinking of the warship.
