Total Revision of Special Law Related to April 3 Uprising Called for in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions issued a statement on April 2, 72 years after the April 3 Popular Uprising, according to the south Korean Internet newspaper Tongil News. The statement called for totally revising the "Jeju April 3 special law" in order to solve all problems related to the April 3 uprising. It said that the truth behind the massacres of participants in the uprising should be probed, the chief culprit make an official apology and the victims be reinstated. It stressed that the campaign for total revision of the special law would go on. |
