Over 30 schools including Munsin Primary School of Tongdaewon District have been newly built in Pyongyang City.

In Central and Sosong districts of Pyongyang which are converting the work for putting education on an IT and modern footing into a district-wide undertaking, priority was given to taking measures for supplying materials and providing equipment and teaching furnishings to schools. As a result, the modernization of laboratories and practical training rooms including halls for studying information technology has almost been wrapped up.

South Hamgyong Province conducted a brisk undertaking to render sincere help to educational units so that many school buildings were newly built or remodeled and equipment necessary for local network connection and multi-function classrooms were fully supplied to schools.

Jagang Province built a school in a mountainous area under the worst conditions as an archetype school and generalized the experience to give a facelift to scores of schools.

North Phyongan Province built and remodeled 30-odd schools for the past one year and now pushes forward with the construction of model schools.
