Under his leadership, the people of the DPRK have hastened the advance in the new century of Juche, working world-shaking miracles in the building of a socialist power.

Despite the hostile forces' unprecedented and unethical anti-DPRK moves, they have made signal achievements. They erected one street after another in Pyongyang in the last few years and built excellent monumental edifices in different parts of the country, including the Masikryong Ski Resort, Yangdok Hot Spring Resort and the Jungphyong Vegetable Greenhouse Farm.

They have also made an advance in strengthening the independence and Juche character of the national economy by consolidating the county's might of science and technology.

Meanwhile, they have increased the national defence capability to the maximum, which serves as a guarantee for ensuring the steady development of the DPRK by dint of self-reliance while frustrating the hostile forces' constant war threats and moves for isolating and stifling it.

The DPRK people are now confidently advancing toward a higher goal for socialist construction, with great pride in those achievements.
