Floral baskets were laid at the statue of the President at Yuwen Middle School in Jilin on April 15 in the name of the General Association of Koreans in China, the family of Zhang Wei-hua, a Chinese anti-Japanese revolutionary martyr, Yuwen Middle School in Jilin and others.

Officials of the headquarters of the association including Choe Su Bong, first vice-chairman of the association, and Koreans in China laid floral baskets before an art piece depicting President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il at the DPRK General Consulate in Shenyang before paying tribute to them.

Present at the celebration meeting held at the conference room of the association on April 14 were officials of the headquarters including Choe Su Bong, first vice-chairman of the association.

The meeting adopted a congratulatory letter of the association to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

A remembrance meeting of the association took place in celebration of the 108th birth anniversary of the President.

The participants in the meeting looked back upon the immortal exploits performed by the President on behalf of the country, people, era and history, and vowed to successfully build the association into a patriotic organization true to the idea of overseas compatriots' movement of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un.

Colorful celebrations were held by organizations under the General Association of Koreans in China, including the Yanbian Regional Society and the Jilin Regional Society.
