Probe into Truth behind Ferry Sewol Disaster Urged

Pyongyang, April 19 (KCNA) -- According to the south Korean Internet newspaper Tongil News, the Taejon Headquarters of Movement for Achieving People's Rights and Removing Evils held a press conference outside the Taejon City Office on April 16 in demand of the probe into the truth behind the ferry Sewol disaster,

Speakers said that six years have passed since the disaster, but neither probe into the truth behind the disaster nor punishment of those chiefly responsible for it have been made.

They underscored the need to probe into the truth behind the disaster and punish those chiefly responsible for it through unlimited overall reinvestigation.

At the end of the press conference, the organization held a meeting to mourn the victims.
