Youths of the DPRK fully demonstrated their indomitable spirit and stamina in building the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station.

The construction of this power station had to be carried out under the most unfavorable climatic conditions in the history of construction of hydroelectric power stations.

In the days of the construction, the loving care and deep trust shown by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un for the youth shock brigade members served as a source for turning them into those of spiritual strength and creators of the new spirit in the era called the Paektusan hero youth spirit.

The Supreme Leader visited the power station under construction in April Juche 104 (2015) and highly appreciated the achievements made by the youth shock brigade members, saying that they are a miracle which can be performed only by the Korean youths. And he glorified the dignity and feats of the young people with unprecedented youth power, a new term of the era.

Encouraged by such trust, the youth shock brigade members completed the dam of the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station No. 1 in 120-odd days by carrying out the gigantic scale of construction work, bigger than the work load done in the previous ten years, and thus displayed the mettle of the heroic youth.

As seen above, the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station is a great edifice of the youth power brought by the deep trust and warm love of the Supreme Leader.

Today the Korean youths are ceaselessly creating new legendary tales about the heroic youth in difficult and labor consuming fields of building a power socialist nation.
