Dissolution of Security Investigation Group Urged

Pyongyang, April 23 (KCNA) -- According to the south Korean online paper Minjok Ilbo, members of the People's Democratic Party of south Korea held a rally outside the anti-communist section in Seoul on April 20 in demand of the dissolution of the Security Investigation Group (SIG).

Speakers said that the SIG served as a running-dog for the Lee Myung Bak and Park Geun Hye regimes, wielding the sword of "Security Law", adding that the SIG still remains a hateful thing.

They stressed that the dissolution of the SIG, an institution for cracking down on the people, brooks no further delay.

Then a statement was read out.

The statement demanded that the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency immediately dissolve the SIG, a typical fascist repressive machine which has trampled on democracy and human rights.
