While making rounds of the Jangsong youth single-stage water pumping station and waterway for desalting Lake Kangryong, Kim Jae Ryong stressed the need to ensure full supply of equipment and materials so as to step up the project and take a thorough measure to protect the embankment by planting lots of trees of good species.

At the Kumpho Mine he underscored the need to actively introduce the proper mining methods and raise the efficiency of blasting for increased production of minerals, not complaining of poor equipment and bad conditions.

He had discussions of problems arising in improving the conditions for ore conveyance and took practical measures to revitalize the production such as the ones to supply accessories and materials.
