The chairwoman of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia said that a year ago, Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, visited the Russian Federation and met with President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.

His historic visit to Russia was an important occasion that provided a firm foundation for the development of traditional Russia-DPRK friendly relations as required by the new era, she said.

The first secretary of the Maritime Territorial Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said that Kim Jong Un's visit to Vladivostok was a merely momentary event in history but the people of the Maritime territory still cherish dear admiration and friendly affection for him, noting they are longing for him to visit the territory again.

The chairman of the Friendship Association with Foreign Countries of Khabarovsk Territory of Russia said that through the first visit to Russia, Kim Jong Un showed the world his will to further develop the friendly and cooperative relations between the DPRK and Russia.

Saying that Kim Jong Un's visit to Russia was successfully made amid great interest of the world media, the chairman of the Tynda Association for the Study of the Juche Idea in Russia expressed his conviction that the friendly and cooperative relations between the DPRK and Russia will brilliantly develop in the interests of the peoples of the two countries in the future, too.
