Russia-DPRK Friendly Relations Will Be Everlasting: Russian Personages

Pyongyang, April 28 (KCNA) -- Russian personages released articles on the occasion of the first anniversary of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's visit to the Russian Federation. Dmitri Remizov, chairman of the Rostov Association for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism of Russia, said the friendly and cooperative relations between Russia and the DPRK are steadily developing under the deep care of the top leaders of the two countries. The chairman said that citizens of Vladivostok warmly welcomed Kim Jong Un on his first visit to Russia in April, 2019. During his visit, the Supreme Leader of Korea left significant footprints at various places of the city visited by his preceding leaders, the chairman noted. He said that a tablet to honor the Supreme Leader was displayed at Lesnaya Zaimka Restaurant visited by him. The visit to Russia paid by the peerlessly great man will clearly be recorded in the history of the development of the bilateral relations and cherished in the hearts of the Russian people forever, he stressed. Alexandr Vorontsov, section chief of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, said the personal relations between President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and Chairman Kim Jong Un got closer and strategic and traditional ties of friendship between Russia and the DPRK grew stronger through summit meeting. Mozgovoy, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, said Kim Jong Un's visit to Russia was an event of great significance which opened a new chapter for the development of the Russia-DPRK relations of friendship and cooperation. The chief of the Group for International Solidarity with the DPRK said the meeting and talks between the top leaders of Russia and the DPRK last year greatly contributed to developing the bilateral relations and ensuring peace and security in the Korean peninsula and the rest of the world, expressing the belief that the friendly relations between the two countries would be everlasting. |
