Pong Mun Chol, head of the manufactory, told KCNA:

The new electric boiler is energy-saving technical equipment, designed to raise the utility ratio of electric energy and it is easy to operate.

It can automatically supply steam or hot water as much as necessary while saving 40 percent of electric power, 80 percent of manpower and 90 percent of installation area as compared with the previous one.

The Fifth Plenary Meeting of the Seventh Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea in December last year set forth a task for launching a vigorous campaign for economical use of electricity throughout society.

To carry out the task, the manufactory is now intensifying its technical service to introduce the new boiler to the whole country.
