Papers Editorially Mark 130th Anniversary of May Day
Pyongyang, May 1 (KCNA) -- Leading newspapers here Friday carry editorials to mark the 130th anniversary of May Day, international holiday of the working people all over the world.

The Korean working people have creditably fulfilled the honorable mission and duty they have assumed before the times and the revolution under the guidance of the great Party since a hammer, a sickle and a writing brush were engraved on the red flag of the Workers' Party of Korea, Rodong Sinmun says, and goes on:

The path of building and development of Juche Korea is clearly associated with the shining feats of the Korean working people who have upheld the Party and the leader with pure conscience and obligation.

It was none other than the Korean working people who have formed the ranks who upheld the party with increased production of iron and rice and with scientific faith in the grim annals of the revolution. The loyalty with which they have absolutely trusted and followed the party only has remained unchanged despite the passage of the times and in the tempests of history.

Certain is our victory in the head-on breakthrough as there are the great contingent of the genuine and reliable revolutionaries who remain intensely loyal to the ideology and leadership of the party always and anywhere, keeping deep in mind the resilient ties they have made with the Party Central Committee.

It is the revolutionary temperament and the proud tradition of the working people of Juche Korea to brave through all the difficulties with the might of self-reliance by relying on their own efforts.

Minju Joson stresses that May Day is a meaningful occasion for displaying to the world the revolutionary spirit and the militant might of the Korean working people who are making devoted dedication to the building of a powerful socialist country under the leadership of the great Party.
