The past four years, in which the country advanced by dint of the single-minded unity under the leadership of the WPK chairman, were a stirring period that witnessed the dignity and prestige of our Party demonstrated all over the world and the inexhaustible power and potential of Juche Korea fully displayed.

The ideas set forth at the Seventh Congress of the WPK were guidelines that enabled our revolution to steadily advance along the path of victories without the slightest deviation, and the grand goals and important tasks set forth at the Congress were the signposts of struggle and advance that enabled all the Party members and other working people to display strong mentality and creativity.

The buildup of powerful force for defending the dignity and security of the country and the people and the creation of many valuable treasures for steady progress and prosperity were a miracle of history, and these are a precious fruition provided by the heroic struggle of our people rallied close around the Party.

In the gigantic advance for building a powerful socialist country, our people cherished deeper in their mind the iron truth that the plan and decision of the WPK chairman are precisely science, practice and victory.

We have realized through grand practical struggle that there would be no difficulties and obstacles insurmountable when all the people hold fast to the self-reliance as a treasured sword for development and prosperity. This is a precious boon for leaping progress in the future.
