Anniversary of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's Election as Chairman of WPK Marked in Britain

Pyongyang, May 13 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Korean Friendship Association UK and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification of the Korean Peninsula made public a joint statement on May 3 in celebration of the 4th anniversary of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's election as chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

The statement said that the election of the respected HE Kim Jong Un as chairman of the WPK is a clear expression of the absolute support and trust of all the Party members and people in him.

It noted that today the DPRK is dynamically advancing along the road of prosperity while smashing all sorts of challenges by the hostile forces under the uplifted banner of self-reliance and self-development under the wise guidance of HE Kim Jong Un.

It said we are firmly convinced that the Korean people who are overcoming all difficulties in the spirit of self-reliance would register bigger success in their struggle for carrying out the decision made at the 5th Plenary Meeting of the 7th Central Committee of the WPK.
