S. Korean Body Calls for Uprooting Deep-seated Pro-Japanese Evils

Pyongyang, May 14 (KCNA) -- The Joint Action of Youth and Students against Abe and Japan held a news conference outside the Japanese embassy in Seoul on May 12 to call for uprooting the deep-seated pro-Japanese evils, according to the south Korean online paper Minjok Ilbo.

The speakers said that the statue of a comfort girl discloses the barbarity of the Japanese imperialists, denouncing the pro-Japanese forces for calling for the removal of the statue, while siding with Japan obsessed by the reinvasion.

They condemned the pro-Japanese elements as a herd of traitors as they are swimming against the mindset of the south Korean public which is standing for peace against war and forcing Japan to settle its past.

They issued a statement.

The statement called for liquidating the elements clinging to the coattails of Japan, a country which tramples the dignity of the Korean nation and poses a threat to the peace.
