Condolatory Visit to Lao Embassy

Pyongyang, May 14 (KCNA) -- Ri Kil Song, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Pak Kyong Il, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries who is vice-chairman of the DPRK-Laos Friendship Association, and officials concerned paid a visit to the Lao embassy here on Thursday to express condolence over the demise of Sisavath Keobounphanh, former prime minister of Laos.

Placed before the photo of the deceased were wreaths in the names of the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of External Economic Relations, the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and the Bureau for Affairs with Diplomatic Corps.

The visitors paid a silent tribute to the memory of the deceased and made entries in a condolence book.
